*Morning Care and Aftercare services for 4-year-old Pre-K through 4th grade are available for an additional cost. Aftercare space is limited and students must be pre-enrolled in the aftercare program to attend. These services are not provided for holidays, staff professional days, or half-days.

Curriculum
The curriculum at Northside School of Christian Leadership is designed to achieve the Expected Student Outcomes. NSCL selects a blend of both Christian and secular textbooks and materials based on their effectiveness to achieve learning objectives. Biblical worldview and leadership principles will be incorporated into instruction in every subject area.

Enrichments
In addition to core academic subjects, enrichment courses will be offered to achieve outcomes and to enhance the overall academic experience. Examples of enrichment courses are physical education, computer, music, library, chapel, and art.

K- 4th Grading Scale/Report Cards
K-2nd grade evaluation standards are performance-based. Grades 3 and 4 will be evaluated on a 10-point scale in core subjects- reading, language arts, math, science, Bible, and social studies. Enrichment grades for K-4th are S, N, U.

K-4th Homework
All classes in grades K through 4th grade will be assigned regularly scheduled homework based on developmentally appropriate time allotments, except for Wednesday nights so that students may participate in mid-week church functions.

Lunch
Lunch must be brought from home each day. Snacks and drinks may be purchased at lunch. Each Friday students may purchase pizza from the cafeteria.
