Lanna Rhodes

Lanna was born and raised in the Wilmington area.  Upon graduating from New Hanover High School, she attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.  In 1999, she earned her Bachelor’s of Social Work degree.  After graduating from UNCW, Lanna married the love of her life, Alex.  She also began serving the elderly community and their families in a nursing home setting.  Lanna has also worked as an Office Manager and an Admissions Counselor.  Lanna enjoys helping others in need and obtained employment at the Department of Social Services as an Economic Services Caseworker.  Lanna then spent 7 amazing years as a Stay at Home Mom raising her two children, Bethany (16) and Benjamin(14) .   She considers this to be her greatest accomplishment.  As they became old enough to start school,  Lanna was blessed to be able to work as a Preschool Teacher at Scotts Hill Christian Academy for 10 years.  Lanna is excited to serve the NSCL families as the Front Desk Receptionist, or “The Gatekeeper”.  She looks forward to seeing each and every student and their parents every day.
